Rogers Spencer are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Accounts and Audit Department.

Financial Accountant

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparation and completion of statutory year-end accounts, primarily for Limited Companies.
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax computations.
  • Carry out audits and Independent Examinations, which will include planning, fieldwork and completion.
  • Engage with clients and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Supervise, train and mentor more junior members of staff.

Skills required

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified with previous audit experience within Practice. QBE will also be considered.
  • Confident with using Excel, Word and ideally CCH software, including Audit Automation
  • Experience with working with charities desirable, although training can be provided
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills essential, both written and verbal
